CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014

We call all kizomba lovers to participate in a dance competition. The condition of the competition is: Enthusiasm and love to dance. Self interpretation and choreography of two dances - kizomba and semba.
The INTERNATIONAL KIZOMBA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014 is an event open to the international public.
The mission of the event is to promote the dance of kizomba as one of the most important and trending examples of African culture.
The popularity of the kizomba dance scene has been developing quickly due to globalization and the solidarity propelled by the Portuguese community rich with culture, language, and art. The event is pivotal in the evolution of dance by way of meeting new people, communicating interculturally, and immersing into an exotic culture.
The KIZOMBA OPEN competition brings together an array of dancers and dance expressions that embody the authenticity of kizomba culture and community. It is also meant to provide a space for networking amongst and between professional dancers, teachers, artists, and lovers of dance.This event seeks to expand the kizomba community and invite new faces to experience and embrace the feeling of the dance.
Kizomba Sensation with the PITANGA Team has the privilege to host The INTERNATIONAL KIZOMBA OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2014 Elimination rounds in the South region of UK, which the international finals will take place in Madrid (7-9th November 2014).
19th of July we will be Celebrating Second Anniversary of Kizomba Sensation with guest teachers: Eddy Vents who were hosted by Kizomba Sensation last year and Rico Kizomba Suave who will be teaching for the first time in Southampton. Guests will lead Kizomba and Semba classes during the night with smooth and stylish moves
and tricks :)
